‘Peninsula,’ the highly-anticipated sequel of the 2016 film Train to Busan is finally coming and the posters for it have been finally released.
The “Peninsula” is set in the same universe as the first movie 4 years after the incident. The story follows Jung-Seok, A former soldier who managed to escape overseas and is now tasked to go back to look for survivors in the now devastated Korean Peninsula.
There’s a lot to say about the 2016 Train to Busan and why we’re anticipating the sequel for it but what made its name in the horror/zombie genre is the very compelling story of a man protecting his daughter from harm while also focusing on the threat. Good balance of drama and thrill, perfect balance of the elements that made this film a masterpiece.
The new movie Peninsula received twice the amount of budget than the previous one and there are definitely high expectations from this movie.
Starring Gang Dong-Won, Lee Jung Hyun, Kwon Hae Hyo.
Directed by Yeong Sang-Ho
