Someone once said, “Treat every moment as if it is your last.” Many people take time for
granted—especially with their loved ones—thinking they’ll always be around. In this new film
from 20th Century Studios, Rami Malek stars as Charlie Heller. His wife had asked him to
accompany her to a summit, but he refused. While she was at the summit, a terrorist attack
occurred, and she was among the victims.
Pain, grief, and regret surge through Charlie. He is a brilliant but deeply introverted decoder for
the CIA, so it’s not difficult for him to track down his wife’s killer. With his knowledge, today’s
advanced technology, and pure determination, anything is possible. But when his superiors
choose not to take action, Charlie is driven to do things he was never meant—or trained—to do.
He’s innocent, incredibly smart, and a simple human being whose life is shattered by the loss of
the woman he loved deeply.
The story is simple and carries an old, familiar feeling—but that doesn’t mean it’s a bad or
redundant movie. In fact, it’s great. The acting feels genuine, and the characters perfectly suit
their roles. Rami Malek’s facial expressions are powerful and effective in conveying deep
emotion. Laurence Fishburne will keep you on edge—you’ll feel like he’s chasing you.
There’s a balanced mix of drama, action, thrill, and romance. Despite the storyline being
somewhat familiar, the movie is still absolutely worth watching.
