Margot Robbie Shines as Nellie LaRoy

Unapologetically bold and full of energy, Nellie enters the entertainment industry with dreams of achieving fame on her own terms.
The trailer highlights her rebellious personality, outrageous behavior, and determination to make an unforgettable impression.
However, as her career begins to rise, the pressures of fame threaten to overwhelm her.
Through Nellie’s journey, Babylon explores the excitement of discovering success and the challenges that come with maintaining it.
Brad Pitt Plays Hollywood Star Jack Conrad

At the height of his career, Jack enjoys the privileges and recognition that come with being one of Hollywood’s leading stars.
But the arrival of synchronized sound threatens to transform the entertainment world he knows.
As audiences develop new expectations and filmmaking techniques continue evolving, Jack must confront the possibility that his greatest achievements may belong to a disappearing era.
His story reflects the uncertainty faced by performers during Hollywood’s transition to sound cinema.
Diego Calva Dreams of Making It Big as Manny Torres

Tobey Maguire and a Star-Studded Cast Join Babylon

Damien Chazelle Returns With Another Story About Ambition
Director Damien Chazelle is no stranger to stories about artists pursuing extraordinary dreams.
His previous films include Whiplash, La La Land, and First Man, each exploring ambition, sacrifice, and the personal cost of achievement.
With Babylon, Chazelle turns his attention to the early days of Hollywood, when the motion picture industry was experiencing revolutionary changes.
Unlike the romantic atmosphere of La La Land, this film presents a more chaotic and provocative portrait of show business.
The story examines how dreams of artistic greatness can lead to both extraordinary accomplishments and devastating consequences.
Music and Spectacle Bring Old Hollywood to Life
One of the trailer’s most striking elements is its energetic soundtrack.
Academy Award-winning composer Justin Hurwitz reunites with Chazelle to create the film’s original score.
The trailer’s music helps establish the excitement, excess, and unpredictability of the setting.
Combined with elaborate costumes, large-scale production design, and dynamic cinematography, the film recreates a fictionalized version of Hollywood during the late silent-film era.
From crowded parties to chaotic movie sets, every scene emphasizes the extraordinary atmosphere of an industry reinventing itself.
