Disney+ to Livestream Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, and Austin City Limits Festivals Globally

PHILIPPINES (March 19, 2026) – Disney+ and Hulu have announced an exciting new partnership that will bring some of the world’s biggest music festivals to audiences worldwide through exclusive livestreams. For the first time, Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival, Lollapalooza, and Austin City Limits Music Festival will stream live across both platforms, giving subscribers front-row access to unforgettable live music experiences from anywhere in the world.

The move marks a major expansion of Hulu’s successful festival livestream offerings, which have provided exclusive access to major Live Nation events for the past six years. With Disney+ joining the initiative globally, music fans across continents can now enjoy these iconic festivals simultaneously in real time.

Disney+ Expands Its Live Entertainment Experience

Lauren Tempest, Head of Content Planning & Partnerships, Direct-to-Consumer at The Walt Disney Company, highlighted the significance of bringing live music events to a global audience.

“Music festivals are among the most electric, can’t-miss moments in culture, and now Disney+ and Hulu subscribers around the world can experience the excitement.”

The addition of these livestreamed festivals strengthens Disney+ and Hulu’s growing portfolio of live programming, which already includes sports, news, and major cultural events. The strategy aims to make both platforms daily destinations for audiences seeking premium live entertainment.

Growing Demand for Global Music Experiences

According to the 2025 Live Nation Living for Live Global Study, music fans are becoming increasingly connected across borders:

  • 73% of fans say they are listening to more international artists than ever before.
  • 85% believe live music now transcends language and geographic barriers.

These findings reflect the growing global demand for shared live music experiences, making livestreamed festivals more important than ever.

Kevin Chernett, EVP and Head of Global Media Partnerships at Live Nation, emphasized how technology is transforming the festival experience.

“Music festivals used to be experiences reserved for the people who could physically be there. Now they’re becoming global live moments that fans want to experience together in real time, no matter where they are in the world.”
